President Donald Trump isn’t the only world leader who enjoys exercising movie trailer diplomacy. On Thursday, North Korea’s state-run media aired footage of the U.S. president saluting a North Korean military officer.

In the video, the president is seen shaking hands with North Korean military officials. One salutes Trump and then offers his hand for Trump to shake. Trump quickly returns his salute.

Despite Trump’s Twitter rhetoric about North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un, his stance on the hermit kingdom has softened since their meeting earlier this week. After the president shook hands with North Korea’s leader at a denuclearization summit in Singapore, he called him “talented” and a “great negotiator.”

“Hey, he’s a tough guy. When you take over a country — a tough country, tough people — and you take it over from your father, I don’t care who you are, what you are, how much of an advantage you have. If you can do that at 27 years old, I mean, that’s one in 10,000 that could do that. So he’s a very smart guy. He’s a great negotiator,” Trump later elaborated on Fox News.

The president also downplayed the human rights abuses committed in North Korea.
